The Getway Earth blog is about all things related to vacation rentals, or holiday rentals as we know it more commonly in the UK! As we grow our content we hope to bring you features on top tourist spots, profiles of some fantastic rentals featured on our vacation rental site, discussions about green issues and much more.
We have been renters of holiday homes for more than 10 years and started our own website called Getaway Earth in late 2009. We started this blog because there were so many subjects around travel and vacation rentals that we wanted to write about. WordPress seemed to make it so easy for us and we’re very grateful for the help of Darren Cronian at Travel Rants who helped us to get started with this blog, his advice and assistance was very generous.
