We would love to have some guest bloggers, particularly any rental home owners who can share their knowledge of the local area. You are the ones that know where to eat, what to see and do and where to shop. It’s one of the unique things about staying in a holiday let and we’d really like to promote that. We also believe in supporting local tourism so let’s hear what’s great about your area!
We’re also very interested in hearing about annual events that are running, be it music festivals in England, surfing contests in Hawaii, The Masters Golf in Augusta or a farmers market in Brittany.
If you are interested let us know by emailing blog@getawayearth.com or leave us a comment. We’d love to hear from you and of course will give you full credit for your content.

I had a look through your blogs, be great to link up in some way. We obviously don’t want to steal your material but, if you were happy to put it on our site with your guest name and link, that would be great. Let us know and we’ll take it from there. Thanks!

Our holiday home is in a village in Donegal, Ireland and I would love to add to your blogs about my area. I already blog about Donegal on a couple of blogs, the one connected with our Daisy Cottage is listed above. I think it is very important to give people a chance to read about the area before arriving. It gives people a starting point of things they want to see and do.
Great idea of yours to get other holiday home owners involved in a blog ~ I look forward to seeing the posts.

Great idea!
I have a holiday home in Donegal, Ireland and have been blogging about the house and the area since before we started taking guests, all the way through the renovations and on to the present day. I think it is important guests and future guests get an idea about the house and the area prior to arriving. That way they get the information they can work on and plan what they want to see and do when in Donegal. I also add lots of photographs so that people can see places as well as read about them.
I’d love to be involved in this project.
