A personal short film for Getaway Earth by Dan Childs

Getaway Earth has partnered with Dan Childs to bring holiday home owners a professional short film making service showcasing the personal side of you and your home. Not only is it an effective marketing tool but it also allows renters to book with confidence having seen the "real you".

Our first film features John Hobson who owns 4 lodges in the Lake District. The brief was simple: Capture both personality and a sense of emotion. We'd love to know if you think we've achieved that. John has also written a "making of" article to give you a sense of what the filming experience was like, especially for those who hate being in the limelight!

Each holiday home owner has been provided with all the tools needed to showcase their personality, including photos, video, facebook and twitter integration, links to their own website, the ability to add local points of interest, and more.

Currently we have over 600 self catering holiday homes listed in 35 countries. There is a simple search interface built on google maps that reacts to each drop down menu selection, allowing you to see just where your holiday home is located.
