Charming country cottage in a peaceful hamlet. 15 minutes from magnificent medieval Dinan. 30 minutes from beautiful beaches. Excellent walking and cycling country. The cottage has its own private above ground pool and hedged-in back garden (comprised of barbecue area, pool area and lawn area) with garden furniture, games and pool accessories. Adjacent to owners’ home. The cottage: Ground floor: open plan kitchen, dining & living area, with back door onto private garden. First floor: double bedroom with ensuite bathroom/WC, double bed and a single bed on a raised platform with balustrade & curtain. Second floor: bunk beds + 1 single bed and ensuite shower/WC. All mod cons, beds made on arrival, end-of-stay cleaning included. Changeovers Saturday.
Le Plessis is situated just 10 minutes from the magnificent medieval fortress town of Dinan. A place of great beauty and historic interest, Dinan overlooks an ancient port on the river Rance. 30 minutes to the vast sandy beaches of Cote d'Emeraude, Mont St Michel 1 hour. Within easy reach are many other places of interest including St Malo, Dinard, Rennes, Carnac, local châteaux and megaliths, and the Cote de Granit Rose. The forest of Paimpont, on the lake of La Marette, is steeped in Arthurian legend. There one can visit the tomb of Merlin the Sorcerer and the Fountain of Youth. Numerous local markets and cultural heritage festivals take place throughout the year.
While the cottage can sleep 6 plus a baby, because of the cosy size of the living area, we recommend the cottage for 4 people.
