Las Tortugas is an imposing and exceptionally spacious country house which converts neatly into two self-contained apartments, one per floor. Each has two large bedrooms, two bath or shower rooms, very spacious living and dining accommodation and fully equipped kitchen, making it the ideal venue for a two family holiday or indeed for three generations of the same family.
The location is completely peaceful – just two neighbours and they are more than 200 metres away, and in the interest of peace and quiet we do not allow children unless both apartments are occupied as a whole unit by the same group.
If you need a break from all that quiet, the beaches, shops and restaurants of Garrucha and Mojácar are just ten minutes away, and the popular golf course of Valle del Este with a selection of bars and restaurants is literally just around the corner- you can just glimpse the hotel from our top terrace.
The views are 360º, notably towards the Sierra Cabrera in the south, with Mojácar village perched on its eastern end, while the sea at Garrucha can be glimpsed to the east.
The 10 metre Pebbletec pool is shared between the occupants of the two apartments and the surrounding open terrace has plenty of loungers for full occupancy.
The ground floor apartment has a huge covered terrace area leading off the dining room, fully equipped for dining and lounging in the heat of the day.
The upstairs apartment has a smaller shaded sitting area outside the enormous L-shaped sitting room, and a 40 square metre solarium.
We recognize that one of the most important features of a holiday is a good night’s sleep, so our mattresses are firm and comfortable and the sheets 100% cotton. We provide large fluffy bath towels and beach towels can be reserved at no extra charge.
A wifi connection is available throughout the house and there is covered parking for two cars and plenty more open parking area within the 2500m2 walled and gated plot,
It really is true that Almería is where the sun spends the winter: we offer exceptional prices for long lets between November and March (minimum 4 weeks) – ask for details. It is also possible off-season to ensure complete privacy in just one apartment by paying a supplement of 50% to guarantee no one in the second apartment.
