Nestling amongst the olive trees in the hills overlooking the coastal village of Arillas is the elegant Villa Linakis.

With a gorgeous private pool this country house by the sea boasts 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, accommodating up to 6 people, plus baby. The 2000sq mt garden and grounds provide a variety of sitting areas where each guest can escape to for quiet moments of peace and tranquility.

Arillas, in North West Corfu, is a popular destination for discerning holiday makers. Not overdeveloped, it is renowned for its beauty, friendliness and the honesty of its local residents.

Villa Linakis is a traditional style villa occupying an enviable position. With wonderful views over verdant countryside, it is the perfect place to rest and relax. Privacy is assured, being completely unoverlooked by other properties - yet it is located only a short distance from the Blue Flag beach, water sports, shops, tavernas and restaurants of Arillas.

The fabulous upstairs terrace offers much more than simply place to sit and unwind. In the evening, flickering candles and chilled drinks help to generate an intimate ambiance where you can enjoy the glorious spectacle of sun dipping beneath the horizon, radiating its evening glow over Arillas.

Ground floor:

Entering the villa through the front door a spacious tiled hallway greets you. Leading off it are the three large bedrooms. The focal point in each are the traditional Greek iron beds, which have been lovingly restored - although you can be assured that the mattresses are new, firm and very comfortable!

The master bedroom has a double bed and benefits from a large en suite shower room. A mini-safe is also located in this room. The two other bedrooms are twins and share a copious family bathroom which is also accessed from the hallway.
All three bedrooms have:

* Patio doors leading out to their own furnished balcony.
* Air conditioning and central heating.
* Radio/CD/MP3 player.
* Hairdryers.
* Mini Safe


In addition, both twin bedded rooms have huge walk-in wardrobes, whilst the master bedroom is furnished with an large 4 door wardrobe.
The family bathroom has:

* UK style plumbing (no bins needed).
* UK Full sized bath.
* Separate Shower.

Tucked away discretely beyond the walk in wardrobe in bedroom three is a small utility room where a washing machine can be found.

Upstairs:

Make your way up the attractive curved staircase in the hallway to the open-plan living area upstairs. Here you will find kitchen, dining and lounge areas, and a large covered veranda. This floor also has central heating throughout.

To find such a well presented kitchen in a holiday accommodation must be a chef's dream. Compact yet well laid out it has plenty of workspace and is superbly equipped with:

* Full sized oven and hob.
* Microwave.
* Separate fridge and freezer.
* Dishwasher.
* A wide selection of tools, pans and other cooking equipment.
* Plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware, including unbreakable items for outside use.



Next to the kitchen is the dining area. This is furnished with an attractive wrought iron, glass topped formal dining table and matching wrought iron chairs, seating six comfortably.

To the front of the kitchen and dining area is the lounge. A pair of sumptuous leather sofas flank a gorgeous oval marble topped coffee table that is most certainly a fitting centrepiece to this area. Also in the lounge are:

* Handsome open fireplace.
* X.Box Games console with 12 games.


At the far end of the lounge French windows lead out onto a large, shaded veranda enjoying spectacular views out over the countryside and down into the village of Arillas. This area was designed specifically so that guests could truly make the most of the amazing sunsets that are often described as some of the most beautiful in the world. Furnished with ample solid wood seating and occasional tables this area is also ideal for al fresco meals or simply enjoying a glass of chilled wine and the company of friends.

Outside:

To the side of the villa is a luxurious pool and sun terrace. Accessed via patio doors from the hallway or via a separate gate from the front courtyard, the area is walled, completely private and catches the sun all day. An absolute paradise for sun worshippers, and beneath the shade of the overhanging olive trees its massive hammock is a great place to chill out with a good book. Benefits include:
